We are made for community. We need each other to bring truth, hope, and a place to belong.
I flew solo to my first writers' conference in North Carolina to make connections in the writing industry, and what I found there was community. Speakers that provided keynotes that I will come back to for their valuable insights and wisdom. Appointments that were more than about business; they inspired me to serve others in my writing. Friends that understood the writing journey and wanted to help.
Here is a picture of us getting up before 6 am to experience the sunrise on the Blue Ridge Mountains and appreciate God’s creation together.
Thank you, Blue Ridgers, for inspiring me to write with excellence and embodying the words of Hebrews 10:24-25, “Let us consider how we may spur each other on toward love and good deeds, not giving up on meeting together.”
