Read It for Yourself

We all carry ideas about God—formed by what we've heard, experienced, or assumed.

And without realizing it, we can begin to trust secondhand voicesmore than the source itself.

But God didn’t leave us guessing.

He gave us His Word.

Not filtered.

Not diluted.

Not dependent on someone else to explain it for us.

And still—we often reach for everything else first.

Podcasts.

Devotionals.

Other people’s insights.

All helpful.

But not the same.

Because there is something different about opening it yourself.

There is a clarity that settles in.

A steadiness.

A sense that you’re standing on something that doesn’t shift.

Scripture says it equips us for every good work—which means it meets us right in the middle of our everyday lives.

In our decisions.

Our reactions.

Our questions.

Not with pressure—but with truth.

With perspective.

With a way forward.

This isn’t about reading more.

It’s about reading what matters most.

An invitation:

Don’t rely on what you’ve heard.

Open it.

Read it for yourself.

Go to the source.

Stay Connected.
