The Power of a Small Prayer

Prayer can look quiet.
Still.
Almost like nothing is happening.
But John Wesley wrote, “Prayer is where the action is.”
It’s where our small perspective opens to something larger.
Where fear loosens its grip.
Where clarity replaces confusion.
Where we remember we’re not carrying everything alone.
Prayer doesn’t always change our circumstances first.
Often, it changes us.
And when we change, everything else begins to shift.
Sometimes prayer looks like words.
Sometimes it’s silence.
Sometimes it’s just sitting still long enough to become aware of His presence.
It doesn’t have to be long.
It doesn’t have to be perfect.
It just has to be real.
A small choice
.A quiet moment.
A turning toward Him.
And everything begins to change.
An invitation this week: Pray.
